Alinity Divine
Alinity was a plaintiff in a suit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch member who filed a lawsuit against Twitch and sought damages up to $25 million. The user claimed the website exposed him to explicit sexually explicit material from female streamers. Dexerto obtained court papers which show that the plaintiff who has previously fought Microsoft Sony Nintendo Blizzard in addition to Blizzard had made a formal complaint June 15. Twitch received an official summons by the court on 19th June. In the lawsuit, made in the Santa Clara Superior Court of California, Estavillo suffers from multiple medical issues that make his reliance on the internet for all his entertainment, as well as being afflicted with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OC addiction, which is what the complaint states Twitch just makes more difficult. It then listed several female Twitch streamers and claimed that they "continue in exposing viewers to sexually addictive material and regularly on a daily and regular daily basis." Alinity is not included. The complaint requests all streamers mentioned above to be removed permanently from Twitch to be convicted of violating the TOS. Additionally, it wants to pay to receive $25 million in damages, which would "be divided equally between the plaintiff, any other Twitch Turbo Subscribers and any other funds."
